Superbad, Arrested Development, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Juno, Year One-all equal the same character as the shy awkwardly geek who everyone just seems to be rooting for. How long can he do this role for? It was funny at first, but let’s hope he will eventually back down from this type of character and into roles where people actually take him seriously.
Don’t get me wrong, Kevin Hart is so hilarious but we kind of see the same character in each of his films.
We all like to see her be a bad ass in the Fast & Furious franchise and kick some ass in her breakout film “Girlfight”, but it soon stuck with her as this tough tomboyish exterior type of character we are all familiar with. Don’t get me wrong, we love this about her, but I wonder what it would be like if she played something other than this type of role.
We see a very grumpy, bad attitude angry guy in just about every film he’s in: Friday, Are We There Yet, 21 Jump Street and Ride Along. Mr. Jackson, why are you always so pissed off? You’re rich, bitch! Smile once in a while.

She plays a blunt, angry, mean, tough I don’t give an “F” attitude type of character in most of her films: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Parks & Recreation, Dirty Grandpa and her recent film, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. We all love to laugh at her jokes and see her play this role, but with these kinds of characteristics, will it backfire on her?
In her recent film, Café Society, I come to the realization that she won’t be playing a different role other than the emotionless mundane character. Twilight, Adventureland, Snow White and the Huntsman - do I need to go on?

The bubbly cute character who she plays quite well: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Accepted, Gossip Girl, The Age of Adaline and even Savages. Let’s see something new!
He definitely plays the same weird awkwardly character. As time passed on, I started to notice he played the same character in every film he’s been in. The Social Network, Adventureland, Zombieland, Now You See Me, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, etc. See a pattern?
I like watching his films. Sometimes. The fast-talking, cocky Mo-fo character of his was doing well in movies, but then it started to get a little redundant. When do we get to see something different again? (Again referring to Psycho and Domestic Disturbance)
I’m not even going to go there with this one. You already know which movies he plays the same role. I’ll give you a hint: all of them.
